Vical develops biopharmaceutical products for the prevention and treatment of chronic or life-threatening infectious diseases, based on it vaccine technologies and other therapeutic approaches. Vical's antifungal product candidate, VL-2397, has a novel mechanism of action for the treatment of invasive fungal infections and low propensity for drug-drug interactions.
