Fly Fishing with Gallatin River Guides
Big Sky, Montana Fly Fishing Trips showcase the great waters of Montana along the Gallatin River. Take advantage of the most beautiful high-country in Montana and enjoy the beautiful Gallatin River as it tumbles down the west side of Ramshorn Peak and flows for nearly 90 miles.

Guided Fly-Fishing trip rates are all-inclusive: personalized guide service, wading and fishing gear, tackle, flies, non-alcoholic beverages, and box lunch if you select the full day option.

As a reminder, we will have a guest speaker Wednesday evening, Rich Jehle who will share his experience of Yellowstone Park, the geology, flora and fauna of the area. Guests are welcome to join this presentation which will begin at approximately 8:10 pm. The session will be presented in the Huntley Dining Room following the business dinner/meeting for the attendees.

Yellowstone National Park Full Day Guided Tour
Make your visit to Montana a trip to remember by joining other MSGERC guests for a group tour of the spectacular Yellowstone National Park. Experience comfortable coaches and knowledgeable, interpretive guides, all of whom are Certified Interpretive Guides (CIGs) and/or BBTC Master Guides.

Please arrive at the Yellowstone West Entrance by 8am(see below for carpooling).  Our trip may include stops at the following sites:

  • Firehole Canyon
  • Fountain Paint Pot
  • Old Faithful Geyser
  • Old Faithful Inn
  • Isa Lake on the Continental Divide
  • Yellowstone Lake and Lake Hotel
  • Mud Volcano
  • Hayden Valley
  • Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone Gibbon Falls

Cost:The cost of the tour is $111 per person for the full day tour, park admission, and box lunch.

Transportation to the Tour Bus:If you need transportation or can offer to take other guests to the Yellowstone West Entrance, please email Barbara at headquarters@msgerc.org.  We will do our best to connect guests for carpooling.  Include the following information in your email:

  • Carpooling to Yellowstone Tour in the subject line
  • If you can drive others: number of additional passengers you can take
  • If you need a ride: number of people in your party that need a ride
  • The best on-site contact information for those who are carpooling such as email address and/or cell number

Award winning Arnold Palmer, 18 holes and 72 par golf course is located in the meadow of Big Sky. Follow the banks of the Westfork where you are sure to see many forms of wildlife.

Geyser Whitewater Rafting Trip
Raft down the Gallatin River with options of varying difficulty. Offering full day trips and half day trips with both morning and afternoon departure times. For kayaking, sit on top kayaks allow you to navigate the Gallatin River with the guidance of certified instructors. Must be athletic and in good shape. This expedition is not for everyone.

Bucks T-4 Lodge

For your convenience, we have negotiated a discounted lodging rate at Buck’s T-4 Lodge.

Buck’s T-4 is located in the stunning Gallatin Canyon, just 10 minutes from Big Sky Resort and 45 minutes from Yellowstone National Park. A full hot breakfast, with eggs, meats, potatoes, pastries, cereals, juices, fresh fruit, etc. is included in all room rates.
